Mahmud Ahmadiyya College, Ijede was conceived as an idea in 1993 by a small group of Ahmadi Muslims who formed the Fazl-i-Omar Ahmadiyya Muslim Educational Foundation (FAME). Meanwhile, the school was established in May, 1994. It is located at Abule Eko, Ijede, Ikorodu, Lagos. The college, approved by government, was established owing to the desire of some Ahmadis to provide qualitative, unadulterated and affordable education for the children of Muslims and non-Muslims in Ikorodu and its environs.
